Sailin' Sisters

Sailin' Sisters is a group of PYC women who enjoy sailing together in a women's only setting.  If you are an adult female member of Perry Yacht Club, you are already a member! 

In the past we have had free educational seminars taught by ASA instructor Commodore Bruce Liese covering basic sailing knowledge taught at Kansas City Sailing in Lawrence and motoring and docking taught on the water at Perry Yacht Club.

Each year the Sisters celebrate sailing together by having a fun day on the water eating, drinking and being merry all with the help of PYC's Cabana Boys taking pictures and delivering refreshments.  Relax by leaving your cares, kids and hubbies behind and hang out with your gal pals sailing the day away.  What could be more fun?

The focus of the group is simply to encourage women's sailing.  We are always looking for ways to get out there and try new things.  If you have ideas for an educational or social event for your Sailin' Sisters, please let me know by e-mailing Joan Allen at allenhouse4@sbcglobal.net.
