Sailing Sisters
Sailin Sisters' Seminars this winter, 2012
Miss sailing with your lake friends? Sick of winter already? We've got the cure! Come join your old sailing buddies and make some new ones at this winter's Sailin' Sisters Seminars!
For the fourth winter in a row Kansas City Sailing has generously agreed to host these informative classes for all women interested in expanding their sailing knowledge. Bruce is a former commodore of Perry Yacht Club and an American Sailing Association instructor-evaluator and is great at making these classes informative, no matter your level of experience. Not only will you learn valuable tips and techniques to improve your sailing, you'll also get to meet some really fun sailors from the entire region. Our focus is supporting each other's sailing endeavors!

The winter schedule is as follows:
January 7, 2012
February 4, 2012
March 10, 2012
April 7, 2012
These Saturday classes run from 3:00 to 5:00 with an optional knot-tying lesson at 2:30. You need not register to attend these FREE classes, however, we do ask that you bring a nonperishable food donation to support a local food pantry. If you'd like, please bring a simple snack to share. Drinks will be provided by PYC Sailin' Sisters.
Afterward, swap stories with your fellow Sailin' Sisters just down the road at the Slow Ride Roadhouse. (It's up to you if you 'd like to invite your significant other!) This part of the day is every bit as important as the class time. You just never know how small the sailing world is and when your paths will meet in the future – either here on local lakes or on beautiful blue ocean waters.
