Thank You To 2017 Commodore's Cup Sponsors
Proud Sponsors of the 2016 PYC Commodore's Cup
Perry Yacht Club wishes to thank the following families and businesses for sponsoring the 2016 Commodore's Cup. We encourage you to express your thanks to them for their generosity. Click on any of these sponsors to link to their websites (where applicable.)
Who are the PYC Sailing Sisters and why should you join? Well, if you are an adult female member of Perry Yacht Club, then YOU are a member of Sailing Sisters! Sailing Sisters are a group of women who are simply interested in sailing and improving our skills together in a women's only setting. There's no yelling but there are usually lots of laughs.
During the off-season we may hold free educational seminars at various locations. A different topic, suggested from Sailing Sister members is covered each time and is suitable for all levels of experience.
During the sailing season we have several different activities such as our ladies only annual sail, and other classes and events as the mood strikes us. The aim of this group is to tailor our activities around what our members would like to learn and do – all while having fun together.
Through the generosity of the PYC Board of Governors, Sailing' Sisters was able to purchase a Santana 20 to be used as a sail training and racing platform. Just like all of the PYC boats, we also want every PYC woman to come learn and get checked out on the Santana so you can take her out safely and have a good time. If you decide to join us for a race, you can be sure that we stress learning over competing. Come give it a try! ALL levels of experience are encouraged...
This group is all about learning and doing what YOU want to so if you have a topic you'd like to see covered, or would like to take part in any of our activities, please check out our Sailing Sisters Group Page. We'd love to have your input and feedback!
Sailing Sisters Mission
Sailing Sisters, open to all women who are Perry Yacht Club members, primary purpose is to encourage and further each ladies sailing experience, whatever their skill level. This will be accomplished in a fun and supportive environment. "
