Committee boat duty

Please contact Matt Gatewood if you can fill a committee boat duty slot and fulfill your committee-boat obligation.  A skipper and at least one crew member (two or three are better) are needed to operate the committee boat.

The current Committee Boat Assignment sheet is here.

Serving as skipper and crew of the committee boat is a requirement for participating in the series races, the centerboard series and the match-race cup.  If you are participating in more than one of these events – say, the series and the match-race cup -- you'll need to sign up for more than one multiple committee-boat slots.  Crewing the committee boat for fun races counts towards your requirement.   The consensus from the March racers’ meeting was that boats should try to crew the committee boat for events in which they aren’t participating.  For example, a centerboard series racer should sign up for one of the series race days.  That shouldl help keep the number of participants up.  We have a lot of slots to fill!!!!
